For my final project I want to do it on women superheroes in real life and use that to connect it to the superheroes of in comic books. I want to talk about why it is that women in the work force such as the fire department are not common just like women superheroes in comic books are not a commonality. Also, Woman in the fire department undermined by the male forces throughout their working environment. I think this is a good connection to comic books because it is usually a male superhero that saves the day. I want to use to analyze whether it is just a physical, or is because of a standard that society has set for us as woman to believe that we are not as capable
